Framed as an award ceremony, feces are reconfigured as value-bearing entities eligible for competition, re-presenting materials that are ignored or abjected through systems of classification, display, and public voting. This process constructs a mechanism of evaluation, bringing feces into a visible system of value. Through this process, we seek to shift established modes of perception and standards of value, ultimately tracing how value itself is shaped within historical, social, and cultural contexts.
