We begin with the contemporary power structures and interactions between nations, using them as a point of departure to imagine an alternative configuration of the world. What if nations were no longer bound by geographic borders, but instead formed through dispersed “stregions” rooted in shared ideologies? Within this paradigm, each nation develops its own visual system, enabling individuals to construct stregions aligned with their beliefs.

Guided by a resident of Alpha Formosa who operates within the Formosa Visual System, we adopt a dual perspective to navigate this world. Through this lens, we re-examine the evolving dynamics between nations, and between states and their people, amid the tensions and negotiations that shape our present reality.
